As a dual registered nurse you could choose to focus on either adult or mental health nursing.
Our course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK, meaning you’ll be eligible to apply for registration with them when you graduate – and start your career in nursing.
99% of our graduates were employed six months after completing their degree, with many getting job offers from their placement areas.
You'll start this course by looking at person-centred care and patient safety, and completing two hospital placements.
In Year 3, the focus is on adult nursing, including long-term health conditions and end-of-life care. Year 4 centres on mental health as you explore the nature and symptoms of mental illness, and learn how to assess and plan care.
Placements continue throughout your course and by the end of Year 4, you’ll be ready to work as a registered nurse.
