Teaching and modules

A degree in banking and finance teaches you how to navigate complex financial systems, manage risk, and create opportunities that can shape industries and communities.

Laura Muncy, Deputy Head of School

You’ll start by developing a broad understanding of, and fundamental skills in financial analysis and management, global and international approaches, business law, and digital and marketing.

In years 2 and 3, you’ll deepen your knowledge and skills in financial management practice, learning how to solve a range of complex and current issues in corporate finance.

In your final year, you’ll also complete a major project. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you’ll use everything you’ve learned on the course to address a current issue in business, and present your findings.
