From self-driving cars to chess-playing computers, artificial intelligence (AI) has been shaping our world for some time now.

Our course is accredited by IET and BCS on behalf of the Engineering Council as fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer. It is also Accredited by BCS for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.

At ARU, you’ll learn about the principles and applications of AI, the systems that underpin it, and the advanced algorithms that are employed.

You'll use the most up-to-date technologies – including software packages and hardware infrastructure – and work on live brief assignments from companies like Mathworks, ARM or Citisoft.

To support your studies, there’s access to online resources from the Intel AI Academy and Amazon AWS Educate programme, and 12-month access to Pluralsight online training courses for programmers.
