Drawing upon our Ruskin Modules Open Studios, we are now taking the next step and opening the Studios to the wider community at Anglia Ruskin University.
Creativity is at the heart of everything we do and central to the purpose of ARU's transformative, inclusive, entrepreneurial, and innovative education. But what is Creative Education? Who can be called creative? Where does it happen and how can we activate our own creative talents to engage with students, research, and well-being?
The Open Studios (OS) are playful spaces to share creative methods and practices, in a safe, playful, and compassionate environment. You don't need to be "creative" to be part of it, on the opposite! We are exploring ways to engage with allegedly "non-creative" disciplines (although we believe everybody is creative!)
We invite participants to co-create this journey, with their own ideas, questions, and experiences about creativity. We hope to develop scholarship, bringing together relevant literature and the diversity of discussions in this field.
